A mixed-use resort in Kaslik is being planned by Sam Elias, a Lebanese-Australian developer. Excavation for 'Soul Beach Resort' will start in July. The project is scheduled to be completed within three years.
The project will be built on a 16,382 square meters (m2) land plot, which has been leased from the Maronite Mariamite Order for 37 years, with the possibility to renew for another 37 years. The built-up area is 78,000 m2, with a sea front of 110 meters.
