One megawatt solar farm in Choukin. Contract valued at $1.35 million


The General Directorate of Hydraulic and Electric Resources has awarded a $1.35 million contract to install a one megawatt (MW) solar photovoltaic farm in Choukin, Nabatieh.

The contract was awarded to a consortium of four companies: Asaco, Farhat Group, Power and Automation Control (PAC), and Marji Group.

According to the Lebanese Center for Energy Conservation, installation work is expected to begin in two months' time. It is expected to take between 16 and 18 months to complet...
