The Cabinet approved last week to the establishing of the General Institute for Olives and Olive Oil, which will be under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Agriculture.
Anwar Daou, Advisor to the Ministry, said: "The institution aims to support olive farmers in the production and marketing phases."
