OGERO to tender internet of things network. Bidders should be linked to global tech firms


OGERO, the State-owned telecom entity, plans to launch a tender for the procurement and installation of Long Range Wide Area Network (LoRAWAN), a media access control protocol for long range, wireless networks that only needs low electric power. The LoRAWAN network will be used for internet of things (IoT) services.

OGERO has invited bids from companies that have proven knowhow regarding the LoRAWAN system. The deadline for submitting the technical and administrative bids is October 6. <...
