Gender gap narrows with age according to ILO survey. Informal employment dominates in all sectors


The gender gap in employment is sizeable in the bracket of 15 to 29 years old, according to the International Labour Organization (ILO) report 'Rising to the Youth Employment Challenge: New Evidence on Key Policy Issues', published earlier this month which covered the youth.

Unemployment rate for males was 6.2 percent and for females 10.5 percent.
