$1.4 billion from World Bank for local projects. Five-year framework program launches


The World Bank will launch on July 27 the Country Partnership Framework 2017-2022. The grand total of loans that will be part of the framework is $1.4 billion.

For the first two years of the framework, a $55 million loan will be granted through the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development (IBRD). The loan will be mobilized for the Lake Qaraoun Pollution Prevention Project.
