Khoury Contracting Co. is the lowest bidder among six companies participating in a tender to operate a landfill in Burj Hammoud as well as to construct a breakwater.
"This tender was a bit different than that of Costa Brava, because the winner is requested to remove the trash mountain already on the site," said Dany Khoury, Chairman of Khoury Contracting. The trash 'mountain' is estimated to contain 3.5 million cubic meters of trash.
