Wastewater projects receive a $100 million boost. Akkar, Chouf, Bekaa, and Arkoub are target areas


Parliament approved on November 13 a loan agreement with the Arab Fund for Economic and Social Development to complete miscellaneous wastewater projects.

The loan, valued at 30 million Kuwaiti Dinars (around $100 million), will be paid back over a period of 18 years, with a grace period of five years, with a yearly interest of three percent.
